Unsung: Legend of Black Hollywood is a visual and editorial project exploring the cultural impact of Ruby Dee, Ossie Davis, Cicely Tyson, and Yaphet Kotto. Through film stills, archival imagery, and original writing, the project examines how Black presence reshaped American cinema through dignity, restraint, and authorship.
This short video captures the digital experience of Unsung Legends as a living publication. Designed as an editorial-style book, the project in editorial form reads as book style while the slides version plays to the film credits theme of the projects design.
